The 1996 Black 900SE Convertible, which starred in the popular sitcom "Seinfeld," hit the auction block when Autobytel.com kicked off its comprehensive auction last month. All net proceeds from the sale of the Saab went to Citymeals-On-Wheels, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing food and assistance to the nation's homebound and elderly.
The Saab, which was featured in numerous episodes of "Seinfeld," will now share the spotlight with Julie Lucas, a very delighted Barrington, IL woman. The proud new owner of this 2,000-pound piece of television history won the car after placing the highest bid on the Autobytel.com Auction site just two weeks after it debuted.
