-Autobytel.com (NASDAQ: ABTL), the leading international automotive e-commerce provider, today announced the appointment of David S. Grant to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Grant is responsible for overseeing all projects within Autobytel.com's Advanced Technology department, including website development, database and network applications.

David brings extensive e-commerce knowledge in addition to exceptional management skills to Autobytel.com. I believe he will be instrumental in extending Autobytel.com's leadership in technology."
Prior to joining Autobytel.com, Grant served as Chief Technology Officer of www.SuperDrugStore.com where he was responsible for product and technology architecture, in addition to recruiting the development team and developing the initial website. Grant also played an integral role in developing the company's business model and strategy.
Prior to joining www.SuperDrugStore.com, Grant was with Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Architecture. In this position, Grant focused on building scaleable, fault tolerant Intranet loan origination and servicing applications.
Other previous positions include Senior Systems Integrator at Nestlé USA, Inc, and President of Independent Computer Experts, a customized application software company founded by Grant.
Grant earned his B.S. in Applied Physics from California State University of Northridge.
