Description: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Excellent tow vehicle with above average comfort. Least Favorite Feature: Cab height is to high for slide-in campers without a bed platform. Advice to Buyer: The Power-stroke diesel is far superior to the V-10 gas engine. Detailed Review: Superduty F350 4X4 SWD LWB Crewcab with Power Stroke diesel. 15,000 miles, 3.73 gear ratio. Excellent tow vehicle but limited turning ability due to long wheelbase. Towed a 10,000 lb. 28 foot cabin cruiser 1000 miles on freeway - 9.5 to 10.5 mpg at 55-60 mph. 9.0 mpg at 65 mph; 18-21 mpg (55-65) mph empty on freeway. Stable towing, quiet, smooth ride. Most comfortable one-ton I've ever driven. Cab is too high for standard slide-in campers and bed is too high for some 5-th wheels (bed can be lowered).
