Description: Irvine, CA-May 8, 2000-Autobytel.com (NASDAQ: ABTL) today announced that Ann Delligatta, Chief Operating Officer, has been named one of Computerworld 's Premier 100 IT Leaders, a unique awards program that honors the most innovative, outstanding executives in information technology each year. "Delligatta is certainly a leader in the Information Technology field," said Maryfran Johnson, Editor-in-Chief of Computerworld . "We thought she represented the best of what IT has to offer and belonged in this year's Premier 100." Winners of the Premier 100 award are selected from a field of more than 250 nominees. In making its selection, Computerworld officials searched for the technology and business executives who personify the best in IT leadership, focusing on the people whose business vision, entrepreneurial spirit, managerial successes or aggressive pursuit of leading-edge IT truly represent the highest ideals of technology professionals. As COO, Delligatta oversees Autobytel.com's day-to-day operations in the U.S., working to maintain the company's position as the leader in Internet-based vehicle purchasing and leasing. She joined the company in 1997 as CTO, and took the company from a basic car-buying service to a robust website, offering integrated automotive information, as well as a variety of ancillary products. She was promoted to Executive Vice President and COO in October 1998. Delligatta was also named by McGraw-Hill Companies as one of the Top 100 Women in Computing in 1996 in recognition of her success in the alignment of business and technology strategies.
