Description: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: The overall smooth operation - very quiet and refined for the money!! Least Favorite Feature: The tires just cannot handle aggressive cornering, I will upgrade when these wear out. Advice to Buyer: Test drive an Altima - I test drove one overnight to be sure, and I made the right choice. Detailed Review: Overall, this car performs very smoothly. The sound of the engine is great, never raspy and 'gritty' like so many domestic competitors. Handling is pretty good and the ride is quiet and stable. All of the interior materials appear to be of high quality, and the seating, driving position, and controls layout is just right. A little extra thigh support for the front seats would be welcome, though. My Altima is a 1998 model, but the 1999 and 2000 models are essentially the same car - really worth test-driving, this is the best car I've ever owned. Try one!!
