Detailed Review: Excellent remake of a long time success for GMC. The brakes are OUTSTANDING in comparison to earlier models. Creature comforts in cab are car-like. So is the ride. Overall, the truck is tight and has no rattles to speak of after 6500 hard miles. Power is good, but not great until reaching highway speeds where it will devour any hill or passing attempt without breaking a sweat. Gas mileage is good for 3/4 ton 4wd truck: 14-15mpg all around. Several small complaints: the small doors covering cd holder and power plugs in cab are annoying and will surely create rattles over time. Also, Chev/GMC should install 4th door and locking tailgate. Other than that, it is a sweet ride and one that I am very happy with.
