Massive leg and elbow room up front. Lots of space in back bench.
Least Favorite Feature:
A bit bouncy when the bed is empty. All configurations suck gas heavily.
Advice to Buyer:
If you want a neck-snapping envy magnet in addition to your daily hauling needs, get the Dakota!
Detailed Review:
The Dakota Sport Clubcab 4x4 is a unique machine, so
expect premium prices in certain regions of the country. The Clubcab option does make a world of difference in both the storage and passenger room of the Dakota as well as its smooth ride and handling.
Although you may not be fooled into thinking you are
driving a luxury car, you will enjoy a very civilized ride for a two-ton truck. New for '99 power rack and pinion steering will glide you into any tight parking spaces. The Part-Time Four Wheel Drive should get you though about anything. Just remember, when the snow and sleet fly this winter, allow plenty of stopping room between you and that Yugo up front!
