Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Looks kill! Infinity Gold Kicks. Acceleration. Least Favorite Feature: Rough engine & drivetrain noise. Jittery ride. Advice to Buyer: Look over vehicles on the lot. I rejected 2 for quality issues before settling on mine. Detailed Review: The best way I can describe this vehicle is 'FUN'. Drive down the road with all 4 windows & Sunroof open, the Infinity Gold CD player wound up, and it really makes for a good day! Acceleration with the new V-8 is fabulous. It handles crisply....you can throw it around like a sports car with no complaints. Getting in/out is easier than most sadans. It hauls 20 bags of Mulch so easily...loaded & unloaded at just the right hight. Fit/Finish were superb....after a good waxing, I found absolutely zero paint/trim/fit defects. Their are absolutely no clunks/rattles/vibrations to be heard inside the vehicle. The ride is still a bit jittery, but recent Explorer drivers would glady trade. Wind noise is fair. The new V8 Engine seems a bit rough to me given today's electronics. Drive-train noise is not as refined as a Ford Explorer. Auto Climate control....I overide it...enough said. A/C not as strong as I'd like...but have not seen good A/C since freon was banned. Brake rotors seem to be warping early. Drivetrain is harsh at 67-73 MPH. MPG likes to sit at about 15.3 in suburban driving....IF careful. Exercize the V-8 and you'll see 13.5. Creature comforts are superb.
