Service.autobytel.com is one in a series of planned product launches from Autobytel.com designed to bring to the vehicle ownership lifecycle experience the same consumer-friendly process it has brought to car-purchasing. Launching Monday, June 21st, Service.autobytel.com promises to empower consumers with cost-effective and efficient processes for dealing with common service and maintenance issues. This move positions Autobytel.com as the online leader in the automotive services arena, an estimated $109.8 billion market for 1999*, and expands the Company's revenue-generating opportunities. Other consumer-oriented services include links to pertinent automotive sites, a Service Message Board for consumers to interact on service issues, and an "Ask the Expert" section that will offer straightforward answers to frequently asked service and maintenance questions. Autobytel.com Accredited Service Centers must commit to the same rigorous standards Autobytel.com requires of its Accredited Dealers, including responding to customers within 24 hours, competitive pricing and a no-haggle experience.
