Advice to Buyer: Try driving it. You will be impressed. Detailed Review: We were shopping for a Subaru wagon when we spoke with another couple on the lot who had just test-driven the Passat wagon. They raved about it so much, we gave it a shot. WOW! Best car I have every driven in my life. I had been tense and tired from maintaining my mental and emotional defenses against predatory car salesmen all day. We took the car down a winding county road outside of Olympia, Washington, and I found myself smiling and feeling good, even with a car salesman 'working' us from the back seat. So quiet! The seats were so nice! The cargo area of the wagon is pretty huge. A truly fine car. It handled like a dream. I loved it! The exterior is a little different looking, but not in any way objectionable. Now, if the car only came with automatic BS repellent for warding off pesky car salesman . . .
