"We've delivered an exceptional value to consumers by adding more than $3000 in features and reducing pricing by an average of $3000 per model." Chrysler Group today announced pricing for new 2005 Chrysler and Dodge minivans, some with the new "Stow and Go" seating feature that debuted at the 2004 North American International Auto Show. 2005 models arrive in dealerships later this year. "We've made Stow 'n Go standard on the majority of our extended-wheelbase minivans," said George Murphy, senior vice president, marketing for Chrysler Group. "We've delivered an exceptional value to consumers by adding more than $3000 in features and reducing pricing by an average of $3000 per model."

According to Murphy, the 2005 Dodge Caravan -- priced at $18,995 -- is the lowest priced minivan in the market, and is one of five minivans to be offered by Dodge. Prices for 2005 start at $18,995 for the Caravan, $22,295 for the Dodge Caravan SXT, $21,995 for the Dodge Grand Caravan SE, $24,990 for the Dodge Grand Caravan SE Plus - the lowest priced model with the new "Stow and Go" feature. Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, the top of the line Dodge minivan, will be priced at $26,995.
Chrysler will offer four models in 2005, priced from $20,995 for the Chrysler Town & Country, to $35,750 for the Chrysler Town & Country Limited. The standard-wheelbase model is the Chrysler Town & Country, and extended-wheelbase models in the lineup include the Chrysler Town & Country LX, Touring and Limited. The MSRP for Town & Country LX is $25,450, followed by the Chrysler Town & Country Touring for $27,750 and the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country Limited at an MSRP of $35,750.
Stow 'n Go is a feature that quickly folds second- and third-row seats into the floor, including the third row split bench. Stow 'n Go will be a standard feature on the extended-wheelbase 2005 Chrysler Town & Country LX, Touring and Limited, and the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Stow 'n Go will be an optional feature on the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SE.
