Description: Autobytel.com inc., the premier Internet car-buying service, today announced the appointment of Rick Cabral to Vice President of Information Services. In this position, Cabral is responsible for all projects within Autobytel.com's Information Technology department, including website development, back-end solutions, database applications, extranets and more. "Heading up the IT department of a web-based company is no small challenge, and Rick is well-prepared for the task," said Ann Delligatta, Autobytel.com's COO. "With Rick's extensive background in managing and implementing effective technology solutions, Autobytel.com can look forward to continued systems advancements." Cabral brings over thirteen years of experience in software programming and systems development to Autobytel.com. His most recent post was as Senior Manager, Application Development, at AST Computer, where he managed the implementation and support of systems for various departments and was instrumental in developing key systems for sales and marketing, supply chain management, Internet/Intranet, EDI and data warehousing. Prior to AST, Cabral worked at Corning Nichols Institute as Systems Manager, Business Applications. There he was responsible for managing the development and support of the Corporate Sales and Marketing, Clinical Studies and Accounts Receivable/Billing systems. |
