Irvine, CA - September 8, 1998 -Autobytel.com Inc., the premier Internet car-buying service, has appointed Ken Orton, President and CEO of Preview Travel, Inc. and Mark N. Kaplan, Partner, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP to its Board of Directors.
"Mr. Orton and Mr. Kaplan add unique perspectives to Autobytel.com's Board of Directors. I'm pleased they have agreed to serve and look forward to having the benefit of their experience and background in future Board activities," said Mark W. Lorimer, President and CEO of autobytel.com inc.
In addition to serving on the Autobytel.com and Preview Travel boards, Ken Orton currently sits on the boards of ONSALE (Nasdaq: ONSL), an Internet auction company and Cognitiative, Inc., a marketing consulting firm serving the high tech industry.
