Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Roomyness, comfortable interior Least Favorite Feature: Hard shifting of auto transmission, steering wheel vibrations Advice to Buyer: Go buy a Honda Accord-& save and save $8,000, better car overall. Detailed Review: First owner, sun roof rattled from day one. Sold by dealer knowing sun roof track was broke & no parts availible. Noo parts are availible as of 5/99 & none expected per dealer. Front end has shimmey, vibrations from day one; still not fixed5/99. Tires changed, rims gouged & replaced by dealer, power stearing pump replaced. Not as harsh but shimmey. vibrations still there. Car always drifted, sharply, to the left on flat roads. After six trips was fixed 4/99, replaced front idler arm. Transmission shifts hard especially at slow speeds uphill and when comming to a slow stop. More items , had to fight to have fixed: fog lights, thermostat, trim -areoun front windows, etc. One car sorry I bought- should have bought Honda Accord-would have saved $10,000. sk Also Considered: 1997 Honda Accord 1997 Ford Crown Victoria 1997 Chrysler Concorde Vehicle Purchased: 1997 Dodge Intrepid Reviewer Information: Location - Manlius, New York Other Vehicles in Household - 1998 Honda Accord |
