Description: In our last newsletter we told you about the launch of our cost-free Dealer Management Reports, which provide customer survey data on your dealer group's performance in terms of speed of contact, professionalism and courtesy, knowledge and competence, follow-up rates, and other key, sales-influencing factors. We're especially pleased to announce that our Dealer Management Reports have already helped to improve the rate at which our dealers contact Autobytel customers by an impressive five percent, and we hope our report will continue to help you track the key drivers of closing rate, allowing you to make adjustments, as needed, that will positively impact your bottom line. An added bonus of our Dealer Management Reports is that we’ve been able to use late-breaking consumer survey data industry-wide to shape innovative new programs and initiatives. For example, we gleaned from our surveys that the single most significant factor in customers’ decision to buy is the perception that he or she is receiving a fair price --and we’ve already translated this finding into action. In our ongoing efforts to increase the number of confident, "ready to buy" shoppers who walk into your showroom, we’ve launched a new, uniquely market-sensitive pricing guide, Estimated Market PriceTM(EMP), which provides a national average selling price for hundreds of new models. EMPTM is designed to help bridge consumer and retailer price expectations from the start, to create a more efficient, enjoyable experience for both parties. The bottom line: more informed, well-grounded consumers--and better close rates. Now available on all three Autobytel car-buying sites, Estimated Market Price is based on comprehensive transactional data, prevailing market conditions, is calculated at the trim/series level and is updated every month. If you haven't received a Dealer Management Report for your dealership, don't worry--you will in the very near future, (this service is being expanded over the next 60-90 days). We're proud to provide such a valuable resource to our dealers and look forward to helping you evaluate -- and optimize! -- your dealer group's customer service and sales performance in the coming weeks, months, and years to come. |
