Description: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Color - Techno violet. Precise steering, super brakes, great cornering. Least Favorite Feature: No tilt steering. CD changer in trunk, and no slot in dash. Advice to Buyer: The optional spoiler is worth the money if you'd like a sportier look. Detailed Review: I drove every 4-seat convertible available. I thought the M3 was second in roominess to the Saab, and second in driving excitement to the Porsche 911, and third in looks behind the Porsche and Jaguar. I'd rather be driving the Porshe, although it has no back seat room for the kids, but I've got $45,000 left in my pocket after buying the M3, and that more than makes up for the small difference in performance. The paint job is exquisite, and the optional spoiler makes it look much sportier. I can fit my golf clubs in the trunk, and two kids in the back seat (or vice versa). I have not yet been able to make it squeel in the corners. It accelerates great, even on the highway in 5th gear, although a 6th gear would be nice. I get 24 MPG in combined driving, and have had it up to 105 MPH with absolutely no noise or vibration or lack of reserve power to speak of. Routine maintenance is free for 3 years as well. It is the best car I've ever owned, and based on the poll results at a local BMW owners meeting, this is just the first of many BMWs I will be buying.
