Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: All of the standard features for the price. Least Favorite Feature: I wish I had purchased a 4wd. Advice to Buyer: Really test drive the Vehicle and look over it very well. Detailed Review: The vehicle ran smooth during and continues to do so. The Sportage is spacious enough for myself and my wife during long, interstate trips. The cargo area is, believe it or not, big enough to carry all of my power tools, including a rather large DeWalt compound miter saw without having to move the rear seats down. It performs well off-road during my mountain biking and camping trips. It could, however, stand to have about 30-50 more horsepower. I opted for the staight drive because it had a little more pick-up then the automatic. The exterior apperance of the vehicle is quite sharp and rugged looking. However, the paint on the bumpers has begun to bubble and peel off at the corners. The only other minor complaint I have had with the Kia Spotage is that you can hear the transmission changing gears during shifts, due to a lack of sound insulation around the transmission housing. I am very hard on vehicles and I am quite surprised how the Sportage handles and rides- on and off road.
