Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Everything!! The whole vehicle is fantastic!! One favorite feature would be the upgraded tire package with the really cool rims. I get a lot of turned heads, even from other Jeep drivers. Least Favorite Feature: There is no elbow room, your left arm is smooshed up again the driver door - no room to stretch or move around. Advice to Buyer: Get the 5-speed manual transmission - it's quick!! Get both hard and soft tops - well worth it! Be sure and get cruise-control - also well worth it!!! Detailed Review: The Saraha model is definately worth the few extra dollars in my opinion. It comes with the features that would have to be ordered seperately on the Sport (i.e. heavy duty electrical group, fog lights, convenience light group, tinted windows, pearl-coat paint, etc.) My last car for 8 years was a Mercury Grand Marquis - excellent vehicle but I was looking for something differant, and I found it in the Wrangler. I heard Jeep's have a noisy & bumpy ride, but mine has neither. I don't notice any wind noise with the hard top, (haven't tried the soft-top yet), and it has a smooth ride. The wheels hug the road, they don't bump along over it. Gives a very firm, safe feel. Steering took a bit of getting used to - no more driving with one pinky finger on the wheel - it's definately a two-handed job. But it's fun. Steering would probably be easier if I had regular road tires instead of the off-road tires, but the off-road tires look so cool it's worth the extra steering effort. I bought the 5-speed manual transmission because I thought the automatic felt sluggish. Also a stretch for me since I've never driven stick before. I've found it fun, easy to get used to, it's fast. The Wrangler is a very well-built vehicle, with every feature functionable, not just for looks. The front seats 'glide' all the way forward to allow (relatively) easy access to the rear seats. The interior I'm told is weather-proof (radio, cassette deck, climate controls, etc.). Everything under the hood is easy access, with clear fluid bottles (brake fluid, radiator fluid, washer fluid, etc.) for quick glance checking. I expect to be the first and last owner of this Sahara. My only concern is that someone is going to steal it. My insurance co. told me they have a very high theft rate. I'm going to shop for alarm systems and definately install some kind of device.
