Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: My favorite feature on the Tahoe is the size and power. Least Favorite Feature: It does get poor gas mileage compared to passenger cars. But I think you'll find it comparable to other SUV's. Advice to Buyer: The 2 door version is a much better value. Think about how often you have more than two people in the car before you spend the extra money on the four door. Detailed Review: I bought my Tahoe last year after having a Nissan Pathfinder. The Chevy Tahoe is much bigger and far more powerful. The ride quality is decent for a car of its size and the seats are comfortable. The 5.7 V8 actually gets better highway gas mileage than the small V-6 in the pathfinder and the larger (30 gal) tank gives the car a highway range of about 400 miles. I've used the tahoe many times for towing boats and tree servicing equipment and it hauls well. I have the two door version which makes it harder for people get into the back seat, however I like the appearance and manuverability of it more than the four door. The two door version also handles better of road due to the reduced overhang in the rear. The four wheel drive system on the car is ample, but I would have liked to have the locking rear differential factory option. All in all I'm very happy with the Tahoe.
