Description: Overall Rating: Comfort Rating: Performance Rating: Quality Rating: Appearance Rating: Favorite Feature: Trip computer Least Favorite Feature: The uncomfortable seats Advice to Buyer: Don't buy it Detailed Review: This is more than a test drive. I have been leasing this vehicle since September 1996 and have put a little more than 28,000 miles on it. I have a number of complaints about this van, the biggest of which is that the seats are terribly uncomfortable. I cannot drive a moderately long distance (200 miles or so) without getting a back ache. Other complaints: I still cannot get used to the accelerator. Some starts are sluggish, others nearly give me whiplash. What a strange accelerator. After a mere 28,000 miles (actually a lot sooner), this car has numerous rattles. I also occasionally find screws that have fallen out of God knows where. This is the first, and last, Chrysler product I will ever own or lease. They have marvelous designs but the quality seems so poor. My previous van was a Toyota Previa, and except for its rear-wheel drive, I miss it. When this lease is up, I'll be going to Honda or Toyota, probably. Vehicle Purchased: 1997 Chrysler Town & Country Reviewer Information: Location - WAWATOSA, Wisconsin |
