It's a mid-sized sedan, it's the middle model of the Galant lineup (DE, ES, LS), it's larger than the Mitsubishi Mirage and smaller than the Diamante
- 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited--Hot Rod Jeep - The '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD with the 5.9-liter V8 engine may look like a traditional SUV, but it sounds like a hot rod. The 245 horsepower engine delivers 345 pound-feet of torque, sports car acceleration, broad smiles from the driver

Description: The 1998 Hyundai Accent GSi is a very affordable subcompact that's loaded with features and qualities far beyond its price. Essentially, the Accent is a new car at a used car price. We were impressed with the build quality. Hyundai backs the car with a three-year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a five-year/60,000 mile power train warranty, and a five-year/100,000 mile anti-corrosion warranty. There are optional extended service coverage plans up to six years and 100,000 miles. Hyundai seems to be saying: we?#146;re now very confident of our cars. As a relatively new player in the US. marketplace, a strong quality and reliability record are essential to future success. Hyundai has had poor reliability ratings in past years, and has been promising, and delivering, better products. The Hyundai Accent is small on the outside, but surprisingly big inside. The front seats are fine for tall people and the rear seat will also accommodate two full-size adults. The driver's seat features five-way adjustability with lumbar control. The Accent GSi is a two-door hatchback with a fold-down (1/3-2/3 split) rear seat. The spacious trunk has a low lift-over height. The GSi package includes an excellent leather-covered steering wheel. The GSi is the sportiest Accent with its 1.5-liter, SOHC, 105 hp four-cylinder engine. The suspension is sport-tuned with front and rear stabilizer bars, power rack and pinion steering, and alloy wheels. The GSi is fun to drive and easily keeps up with traffic while returning mid-thirties fuel economy. The interior is pretty quiet and the ride isn't too choppy for such a short car. We thought the car was a little stubby looking, but it has lots of popular styling cues including front and rear spoilers, body side skirts, big fog lamps, and body-colored bumpers. The Accent GSi is very well-equipped with a long list of standard equipment. That's very impressive for a car that lists for $10,699. Our $12,253 test car had air conditioning and a moonroof. The base model Accent L can be had for under $9,000. We were favorably impressed with the Accent GSi's quality, passenger room, cargo capacity, performance, fuel economy, and affordable price. The Hyundai Accent GSi is a lot of car for the money. |
